Pre-Publishing Services
We provide the following pre-publishing services, one or more of which may be procured while uploading your manuscript:
i. Traditional Proofreading (for Typeset Copy):
Consists of one reading to uncover basic errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
ii. Copyediting:
Provides a reading of your manuscript with an eye for spelling, grammar, punctuation, proper abbreviations, numbers and lists, proper word usage, and a check of your table of contents. [more details]
iii. Editorial Proofreading:
Here we check for errors in word usage (for instance, the use of 'to' instead of 'too'), hyphenation, and subject-verb agreement. If needed, editorial proofreaders can look for grammar problems (like using which instead of that). They can also recommend changes in word choice or inappropriate punctuation. Editorial proofreading is usually done on material that has already been edited or reformatted.
If you can afford it, we recommend that you invest in this service so that a fresh pair of eyes can iron out any inconsistencies or errors. [more details]
iv. Substantive (or Developmental) editing:
A comprehensive and thorough edit, that includes everything from grammatical and typographical errors to character and timeframe inconsistencies. You will also receive feedback/suggestions on redundancies, wordiness, or vagueness, as well as any perceived opportunities to strengthen the focus and/or organization of your work.
v. Interior Page Design (Page Layout):
This involves making your manuscript print-ready. That means your font sizes, margins, table of contents, copyright information and other details are all checked for consistency in style and convention. [more details]
vi. Cover Design:
The cover of the book is considered a primary marketing tool, especially since it often forms the first impression the book conveys. Our designers will provide you with a cover that accurately reflects the mood and substance of the book. [more details]
vii. ISBN:
An ISBN (International Standard Book Number) is a controlled, 10- or 13-digit identification number that allows publishers, libraries, and book dealers to locate books. 
Having an ISBN means that your book will appear in bibliographic databases that are often referred to by booksellers when they are looking for a particular book.
For your book, you may use an ISBN obtained by you or one issued by us. If you use an ISBN that you have obtained, the book will be published by you. If you use one issued by us, the book will be published by CinnamonTeal. ISBNs are provided free of cost.

viii. Scanning and Digitization:
This service includes scanning papers and photographs, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and archival of digitized information. We scan documents at 600 DPI to ensure the high quality of the images produced. We will also arrange for pickup and delivery of your documents. [more details]
ix. Indexing:
We provide book indexing, journal indexing, and embedded indexing services. We provide the final index file in PDF, RTF, .CDX, and MS Word format as required. We provide Subject Indices (or Indexes), Author Indices and a combination of Subject and Author Indices, as required by the author. We index books on a wide range of subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Medical Sciences, Genetics, Microbiology, Engineering & Technology, Economics, International Business, Philosophy, Psychology, and Political Sciences. x. Research:
This involves the research of facts for matters pertaining to the book. It includes period research and verification of stated matter.
xi. eBook Services:
We provide conversion services to all major eBook formats including ePub, Mobipocket, PostScript and other such formats. We provide conversion for English (and similar scripts) as also for Indian languages.

xii. Audio Book Services:
We will convert your text into an audiobook as per your requirements. We provide this service currently only for books in English.[more details]
xiii. Preparation of manuscripts in Indian regional languages:
If your book is in a regional or any Non-English language and developing a manuscript is proving difficult, do not worry. We will ensure that your manuscript is properly developed for printing. We have also associated with Lipikaar to provide you with options that will allow you to type in your Indian language of choice from a normal, QWERTY, keyboard.
xiv. Archival Services:
We will safely store your manuscript after printing so that your book can be reprinted any time you choose and promise to maintain the integrity and safety of your intellectual property. This manuscript can also be revised to reflect modifications in content. This service is provided free of charge.
xv. Translation:
We offer translation services for all Indian languages and most foreign languages.
xvi. Marketing:
Having published your book, your next task is to let the world know about it. We provide marketing services that can be tailored to your budget and to your preferences. Depending on the market your book caters to, we will help you design and execute a marketing plan.
We can also design your collateral and other material you may require to adequately market your book.
xvii. Web Designing Services:
In today's world, marketing yourself usually means having your own webpage and blog. Consistent with our objective of providing authors a one-stop shop, we design professional webpages that are reasonably priced.
We also offer a package that includes your own website, five email addresses and basic website design.
xviii. Fulfillment Services:
As a publisher, it might not have been easy investing in a distribution set up in places where demand is low. With print-on-demand, you can fulfil orders one at a time. Simply let us know and we will print and deliver your book to any corner of the globe.
